The Origin Story
One of the best memories that I have of my childhood is writing stories with my sister. We savored the joy of traveling to a world where we brought characters to life. Soon, I discovered the world of music through piano. I turn to recordings from the greats to understand how they deliver emotions through music. Over time, I've trained my ears to discern the good from bad, the extraordinary from ordinary. I carry this philosophy and perspective to design and areas alike.
Now
I'm studying Computer Science and Cognitive Science at UC Berkeley. I seek to understand the mechanisms of everyday behavioral patterns and the psychology of people. These perspectives help me think more critically about how we built this world up from the ground, and how to design for a future that's built upon more empathetic and humane technology.
Design combines my love for creative problem-solving, the human psyche, and technology. When designing, I'm always curious to learn about how to align interfaces to the ways we think and interact as humans. As I work, the physical forms may shift to reflect their constructions, but the underlying curiosities–about people, about society, and about time–are always the same. Outside of design, I love playing music, a good book, and climbing.
